we were told that our 1st project is about Dots, and today 11.04.2009 we made it. we made compositions with dots considering light effects with transparent sheet. we made various dots with various depths, sizes and style. I made a flow about dots but i was actually not sure about the size of dots. I made a little bigger dots which was not appreciated by everyone. but i didn't change my composition cause I wanted to make my one just from my concept. Hope my work will be considered as composition of dots not circle. our teachers graded our works. We also went to alios to watch the projects of our seniors project of Level-1 Term-1. We also took some photos of those projects and we returned home.
Nothing else, just we have some elevation basis class work tomorrow. Hope we will find it much more interesting!
This was nothing but everything about todays work. But today I found that I have to think and give lot more time in my studio class.

I cleaned my locker and 1 of my classmate and cleaned the glasses very nicely. we had to make dots with different dimensions in a mood of expanding light to create a beautiful combination with simple dots. Dots which has no depth, dimension or length has only the character of positioning, will make a unique dimension in our project. Our project work will start tomorrow. Till then its good night form Fahim the unstoppable

Ethics, art and architecture
This segment of our workshop was to make us clear about the ethics in art and architecture. We were given a clear idea about our proper attitude to work. Though it was really very difficult to understand this topic for me, but I tried to give my best attention to this topic. Ethics is a branch of philosophy which seeks to address questions about morality. The joint study of architecture and ethics involves the critical examination of norms of human habitation. It recognizes and “problematizes” the social, political, and personal character of architecture and design. Environment is a material and ideational membrane between our inner and outer selves. It impacts on self-identity, autonomy, and underlies aspects of personal character, integrity and social responsibility—all concepts readily recognized
within philosophical discourse. In architectural terms autonomy is seen to
involve the manipulation of spaces, while in philosophical terms it is seen as
necessary for assuming an ethical stance, and so partly constitutive of a moral
self. But the architectural sense of autonomy can be and often is related to the
philosophical.
For me art, architecture may have some sort of common ethics, and as a student of architecture we must understand the implications of the ethical norms to develop appropriate attitude.
Our whole workshop aimed at our improvement in our soul. It was a giving a preliminary idea about our learning process and made

Nature, the truthful designer
Our workshop had a clear vision about refreshing our minds, our souls. In that process we learnt about the ultimate designer, the nature.
Nature is the ultimate designer. In fact, nature is the most skilled designer. All the designs of nature are very much adorable and functional too. It is the uniqueness that has made nature the ultimate designer. Nature is continuously engaged in the process of design. We can see even the great design in the very lower form of life. It is always making the new design and never makes the same design twice. We can see nature’s design is enormous form like fireworks in the sky or in the tiny form too. Everyplace we look at; we’ll find nature’s unique design with unbelievable functionality which is also very much complex. Nature’s diversity and sublime power of designing is can’t be comparison with anything in this world. There is a question that about the spirit of nature’s uniqueness in designing. I think this spirit is truth. Truth, the absence of false is always seen in nature’s creation. Nature never lies to us. It may create illusion, but it never lies. The most important thing of this ultimate designer is it leaves a question in its every work. For which we the human being try to figure out the answers, not every time successfully but always we search its spirit the truth. Nature is never artificial. It is always truthful. We are the human who created this word artificial and created false. The impact of this false is valueless, creating nothing but fruitless works. That’s why all the designers try to follow the ultimate designer.
Nature is followed by designers. All the creative works that the designers creates are from the inspiration of nature. They follow the nature because of its truthfulness, its uniqueness. But still there is a question, does designer need any false? It’s a question that can only be answered by the ultimate designer, nature. In all possible ways I think a designer must try to find this answer too.

Life in the lifeless
Life in the lifeless
In the term of science protoplasm is considered as the form of life. There are many elements of our surrounding environment are considered to be lifeless in conventional terms of science. But all of them are consistently interacting with livings. Their life forces represents their life form for which we can find life in the lifeless. This was the intension of our work shop with sir Muntazar Monsur who gave us a pretty clear idea about this matter and also made us to search life in the lifeless.
We were asked to form a group and express our ideas about this topic. In our group discussion we found life in the lifeless form of color. Color is nothing but the physical properties of a component in terms of chemistry. But it is the language of artistic approach in every phase of our life. They always try to tell us something, as if they are a living person. For example, the red color always takes our attraction and sometimes takes the form of negative. Like red, green is also expressional as the color of nature and all the other colors too. They smile , makes us thinking of them, share our feelings etc. we saw its impact in our life, and our impacts too. Like color, our house, our instruments, natural forces all represents their life force in the form of lifeless in so called the terms of science. They consistently interacts with us. With our presence they react and also shows reactions with our absence. We can even say these things just watching those things. They just act as a individual life forms though they are called lifeless.
In a word we can say that life is a critical word to describe. In terms of explanation we may refer various words to explain it or various forms to symbolize it. It is really very tough for a person to give the perfect definition of life. For me life is something that is reformation of life forces interacting with others in a way that is reciprocal and that nothing else.

Learning Process and formation of personality
Personality is very small word which describes all of characteristics, our insights and outs. Now from my childhood to my stage of life I have experienced variety of learning process and guidance. Now from my point of view I think we need guidance to improve or build up character, our way of thinking and improve our outlooks. But this learning process should not oppose any of these aspects. I have faced a lot of learning process and I have found very few processes supporting these aspects. Most of the time, the learning process was quite boring. It only had the view of obtaining the first place, but never intended us to learning for our satisfaction. As a child my family was my primary guidance, then my school mates and my teachers and so on. I had learnt my spiritual belief, obedience from my family. I learnt honesty, truthfulness, and other qualities from my parents and my sister. I had learnt much desirable quality from my family, but I remained in darkness about the bad impacts of human behavior. l learnt those bad impacts from my mates. They also helped me avoiding those acts. I was taught discipline, punctuality, regularity and other qualities in my school. Yes I can say that my school guided me a lot but it also changed my response towards environment. Gradually I began to feel that I almost lost my curiosity in other things. I figured out that life which was very interesting for me in my childhood, now becoming almost boring and meaningless.
Most of the time my learning process began to form a boring process; for which I lost my attraction towards my study. This what happens with almost every students in our country. So for me learning process is very important for shaping ourselves. It builds our characters, motivates our formation of personality. Learning process is really a very effective method for building up own character.
Personality is the total sum of an individual's psycho-physical aspects. It depends on many things, such as our environment, our process of learning, our views and ideas etc. As it mostly depends on our environment, all of us have different personalities. Mostly some of us may have some common characteristics, but it still shows our individualities as a person. As I was brought up in a nuclear family, I faced panic in loneliness. I faced lot of difficulties in making friends and thus I grew up as an introvert. Moreover my parents had very conservative outlook which made me more recluse. My school and college made me much instructive only about my textbook. My family, my mates, my educational institutions shaped up my character. Now I am a student of university and this is helping me to explore myself. Thus personality is molding with these environments and learning processes.
